Who we are:

Since 2021, Major Karate Federation (MKF) has taught students ages 6 and up with a focus on individualized, tailored training at a price students can afford.

• Small class sizes allow for one-on-one instruction.

What we teach:

• Students build self-confidence and develop self-control, all while learning to be respectful and responsible.

• Students learn how to perform open-handed katas and use karate tools (weapons). As students develop these skills, they will become eligible for Kyu belt testing or Black Belt testing to be promoted to the next belt level.

50 of our students have entered tournaments over the years. Together, they have achieved:

Transportation available from VHEW.

Have a student at Vestavia Hills Elementary West? Our instructor (Mr. Major) has an agreement that allows him to transport up to 10 students at a time via bus to and from the Vestavia Hills Civic Center (VHCC).
